The other night for example I was sipping a wonderful, full-bodied red wine and grabbed one of our Sea Salt Dark Chocolate Caramels. OOOOOHHH!! The flavors for both the wine and the chocolate were so much more illuminated! With the hint of salt and biting in for the caramel, it was so exquisite you would have thought I was doing a formal wine tasting!
Now think about gathering a group of women in for an evening of chatter, giggles and of course food! When you pair it with some simple finger foods that allow the women to just walk by and snatch a bite to eat, make sure the bottles of wine are nearby for them to refill as well.
One of the simplest things to make to serve your friends and family is a charcuterie platter. In the meantime, keep it as simple or as extravagant as you want it to be. We do recommend for aesthetics putting it on a wooden board or platter just sets the tone nicely. Incredibly, just having a large variety of cubes of cheeses, different meats like prosciutto and salami will make it a huge hit.
